Managing Your Solo Practice
Designed for Solo & Small Firm Attorneys
You went to law school, not business school, and how nice it would be to focus on legal matters and find your practice thriving. Alas, the 21st century attorney in solo or small firm practice must face reality: You are in fact running a business, so why not take advantage of this FREE opportunity to re-envision your practice from a business standpoint?
In six meetings (twice a month for 3 months), you will join your peers in addressing topics including:
• Business Goals & Mission
• Creating a Brand and Establishing a Niche
• Marketing – online, in print, in person
• Networking & Mentoring
• Using Technology to Enhance All the Above
This series will not be an occasion for listening alone – each meeting with also feature discussion and interactive exercises to keep it interesting and participatory, and so that attendees may learn with and from one another as well as speakers. Please make every effort to attend all meetings.
The first meeting will be Friday, March 15, 2013 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. Subsequent meetings are planned on: March 29, April 12 & 26, May 10 & 24.
This group series is offered and led jointly by LOMAP (the Law Office Management Assistance Program) and LCL (Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers).
